Reindexing fails on sites with "." #229
Description
Reindexing fails on my site maxpittsley.com because it doesn't replace the . in the key with ,1. Documentation says that it's important for the site name to be the same as the domain, including .com and optionally www., so the whole suite should support site names with periods.
