Description
Local user accounts allow you to set up several users on the same Stash Explorer and disallow certain features. As Stashapp does not contain any way to add user accounts, this is the next best thing. Local user accounts will be stored in a local INI file in the application directory and obfuscated in Base64.
User accounts do not need to be tightly secured due to them not accessing a server. Users are expected to use on-device encryption or in the case of a portable hard disk, encryption at rest.
Users can edit their local INI file to change the properties of user accounts to share with others who might want to access their Stashapp instance. Please practice good security etiquette if you do want to do this, I am not responsible for someone gaining admin access to your Stashapp instance.
