Please describe the feature you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?
Add option to lock version on loaded container so it can be safely used even if is not latest.
How would you imagine the implementation of the feature?
Add a metadata to container data that says the version is locked. Because containers metadata are currently defined by each load plugin this probably can't be done by single PR in one repository but in multiple PRs across multiple repositories.
Are there any labels you wish to add?
- I have added the relevant labels to the enhancement request.
Describe alternatives you've considered:
Alternative is to wait for #1431 which should define api for load.
