Improves compatibility with Raspberry Pi 5 by detecting RPi.GPIO failures and falling back to the pinctrl command-line tool for GPIO operations. Ensures scripts continue to function even when RPi.GPIO cannot access hardware, enhancing robustness and maintainability across Raspberry Pi hardware revisions.
