The soname is set to 0, but you may want to bump it with this new version.
The manual moduledir setting is specific to Mageia in which plplot mods are installed in the /usr/lib/gcc/... directory.
The pkg-config output is yet unused, but it might help to automatize the search for plplot libs on various systems.
