How to Git Tag

Creating a new annotated tag

git tag -a v1.0 -m 'Blender-VR 1.0 Official Release'

Pushing a local tag

git push origin v1.0

Updating an existent tag

git tag --force -a v1.0 -m 'Blender-VR 1.0 Official Release - including last minute new fix'
git push --force origin v1.0

How to make a .zip from the current repository

This is needed for the installation files.

git archive HEAD --format=zip --prefix=blender-vr/ -o ../deployment/blender-vr.zip blenderVR modules utils samples README.txt requirements.txt configurations
