Changes:

Fix import preventing usage (thanks @RUGMJ)
Generalize platform check (fixing support for non-ubuntu Linux)
Fix url request preventing usage
Flesh out version check

Note that metadata.yml is missing from the Linux (and OSX?) releases

Flesh out troubleshooting info on dragon lo w/o expected argument

Resolves #137
