Perpendicular Dev Pack

This is an auto-updating dev pack for the Perpendicular modpack!

To install, drag and drop the zip file into the main window for Prism, MultiMC, or any launcher that can manage instances easily (you can also go to your launcher's "Import" tab when adding a new instance and import it that way). The CurseForge or Modrinth launcher will not work for this!

The auto-updating process begins every time you launch the instance; alternatively, you can update the modpack without launching the instance by heading inside the .minecraft folder and running "update-mods.bat" (if you use Windows) or "update-mods.sh" (if you use Mac OS).

This dev pack should be used for testing purposes to contribute to pack development. It is NOT for playing! This pack will update more frequently than the CurseForge release because bleeding changes get pushed to it so that we can test things before we make a new release.

!!! IMPORTANT !!!

The first time you run the pack, you will get a "Failed file downloads" popup; this is due to some mod and resource pack authors not allowing their CurseForge projects to be downloaded with third party tools like this. Here's how to fix it:

1. Click the "Open missing mods" button in the bottom right corner
2. Visit each page that opens and manually download the projects
3. Place them in the respective "mods" or "resourcepacks" folder wherever you installed the modpack.
4. Select "Continue" on the popup, and the rest of the mods and resource packs will automatically download.

If this error pops up again due to mod or resource pack updates in the future, just do the same thing again (and also make sure to manually remove the old versions of the mods!) and it'll solve the issue.
