A First-Person Shooter built with the Godot Engine
ORIGIN is a tense, atmospheric first-person shooter developed by Priot Studio using the Godot Engine.
You play as a security guard in a high-tech planetary research facility during a catastrophic lockdown.
Something has gone horribly wrong — the staff have mutated into hostile, twisted versions of their former selves.
With the help of a lone surviving scientist, you must fight your way through the facility, uncover what caused the mutation, and contain the ORIGIN project before it too late.
- Immersive FPS Combat — Engage in fast-paced gunfights against mutated personnel using an array of security-grade weaponry.
- Dynamic Patrol System — Explore the facility’s corridors, labs, and maintenance tunnels while managing limited resources and ammo.
- AI Companion — Work alongside a scientist NPC who provides tactical support, lore, and guidance through voice and terminal interactions.
- Lockdown Events — Experience environmental hazards, automatic lockdowns, and power failures that alter the flow of gameplay.
- Story-Driven Exploration — Discover logs, documents, and security footage that piece together the events leading to the outbreak.
- Engine: Godot Engine 4.x
- Language: GDScript (with some C# modules for advanced AI logic)
- Platform: Windows / Linux (planned export to consoles)
- Version Control: Git + Git LFS (for large asset management)
