Summary

Added three new projects to the featured projects section on the homepage:

  • Apricot: A nonprofit connecting displaced Palestinian tech professionals with global companies, resulting in $1M in salary to Palestinians
  • Media Bias Meter: A research initiative exposing anti-Palestine media bias from major news outlets through detailed research reports
  • A Ween Rayeh: A smart, community-powered platform that gives Palestinians real-time updates on road and checkpoint conditions in the West Bank

Changes

  • Added project cards for the three new projects
  • Added project logo images to /public/images/new-homepage/
  • Converted layout from CSS Grid to Flexbox with justify-center for proper centering of items (especially the last 3 cards in the second row)
  • Set minimum card height to 380px for visual consistency
  • Increased padding from p-6 to p-8 for better spacing
  • Updated Find a Protest logo with new image and background styling
  • All images now use their built-in border radius styling

Test plan

  • Verify all 7 project cards display correctly on desktop (4 per row)
  • Verify cards display correctly on tablet (2 per row)
  • Verify cards display correctly on mobile (1 per row)
  • Verify the last 3 cards in the second row are centered
  • Verify all project logos display with proper border radius
  • Verify all links work correctly
  • Verify hover effects work on all cards

Add three new featured projects to homepage

Added Apricot, Media Bias Meter, and A Ween Rayeh to the featured projects section on the homepage. Updated layout to use flexbox with centered alignment for better visual consistency across all 7 projects.

Changes:
- Added project cards for Apricot, Media Bias Meter, and A Ween Rayeh
- Added corresponding project logos to public/images/new-homepage/
- Converted grid layout to flexbox with justify-center for proper centering
- Added min-height of 380px to ensure consistent card heights
- Shortened Media Bias Meter description for better balance
- Updated Find a Protest logo with background color styling
- All cards now have consistent padding and spacing
