How do I enable Microphone and Camera in Snap Version of WALC?

You can enable all required permission from Snap Store.

Go to Snap Store
Search WALC
Open WALC Page
Click Permissions Button under WALC Title
Enable all Permissions
Click Close
Restart WALC
Done!

I see blocks instead of characters in some of the dialog boxes (e.g. Exit Dialog), How to fix this?

This issue is related to SnapCraft Font Cache as defined here and here, try clearing the font cache and restart WALC.

sudo rm /var/cache/fontconfig/*
rm ~/.cache/fontconfig/*
fc-cache -r
