Connection Failed / Disconnected

If, when a client connects to your TransferProxy server, the redirection fails due to a disconnection or a hang on the target server, several reasons may explain this.

First, check that the target server is accessible WITHOUT going through the TransferProxy server, the remote server must be reachable from the outside by the client. (Typically, it must not be on a private or local network.)

If the server is accessible directly but not via a TransferProxy server, another plausible explanation is that the target server is refusing connections coming from transfers.

  • On Velocity: accepts-transfers in velocity.toml
  • On Spigot: accepts-transfers in server.properties
  • On BungeeCord: reject_transfers in config.yml
