Suitability for ONT data?

Hi,

Is VTAM, like DADA2, dependend on the sequencing technique used and thus limited to Illumina sequencing? Or can it also be used for ONT sequencing data? I can't find it in the article, although I saw it was tested on MiSeq data.

Hi,
We only used Illumina data for testing VTAM. I do not think it would work for ONT, due to the relatively high error rate of this sequencing.
