Lots of very cool stuff in here!

This info should also be accessible via the CLI section of the docs, and ideally not duplicated, so we should decide which section this content resides in as the canonical CLI reference for sandboxes, and which which section links to this.

instead. The sandbox cleans itself up when you exit the session.

Is the /app directory special ins some way, or can this default be overridden?

The /app is the default directory for everything related to sandboxes. it cannot be overidden, at that point you probably should just use the copy subcommand itself
