## When to use docker-compose

docker-compose is well suited for defining and running multi-container applications in the following scenarios:

- Local development environments
- Testing and staging setups
- Small to medium-sized deployments on a single host

For larger, distributed or highly available production environments, other solutions such as Kubernetes may be more appropriate.
