Hey there 👋

Currently, I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Tekmetric.

Before that, I worked as a Principal Front End Engineer at Fundrise, a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Dorsata, and a UI/UX Software Engineer at CCRi.

  • 🔭 Some of my side projects are DidUVAWin.com, OX Rush, the Washtenaw COVID data scraper, and my futile attempts at the Advent of Code.
  • 🌱 Although I use React at work, I'm really a huge Vue fan, especially with Vite and all the incredible tools from the Vue community added on top, and I'm always trying something new with JS/TS.
  • 👯 I’m interested in working on projects that focus on health, service, community outreach, and building tools to make people's lives easier.
  • 💬 Ask me about the time I starred in a dramatic reenactment for the true crime TV show Wicked Attraction on Discovery, a show about "ordinary people who come together to commit heineous crimes."

  • ⚡ Fun fact: I was named after the wrestler Jake "The Snake" Roberts, but I obviously didn't live up to his wrestling career.
