Copilot AI commented Dec 22, 2025

After November 2025 installation, Power Apps reports show blank "Connectors used in apps" sections despite successful sync flow runs. Root causes: incomplete inventory, licensing pagination limits, environment exclusions, missing app-connector relationships, or stale Power BI cache.

Changes

New Documentation Structure

  • CenterofExcellenceResources/Release/Troubleshooting/ - Created centralized troubleshooting directory
  • Missing-Connector-Information.md - Comprehensive guide with 11 diagnostic steps covering:
    • Flow run history analysis
    • License adequacy verification (trial vs. per-user)
    • Manual inventory triggers via Driver flow
    • Environment inventory settings validation
    • App-connector relationship inspection
    • Dataverse table data verification
    • Power BI refresh procedures
    • API throttling detection
    • Environment variable configuration
    • Unmanaged layer removal
    • Flow logic review
  • README.md - Index and contribution guidelines for troubleshooting guides

Root Causes Documented

  1. Incomplete initial inventory sync
  2. Pagination limits from trial/insufficient licensing
  3. Environment-level sync exclusions
  4. Broken app-connector relationship data
  5. Power BI report cache staleness

Quick Resolutions

  • Run Admin | Sync Template v4 - Driver manually for full inventory
  • Verify service account has per-user license (not trial)
  • Check Excuse from Inventory = No for affected environments
  • Refresh Power BI dataset
  • Enable DelayInventory environment variable for large tenants to avoid API throttling

Repository Integration

  • Updated main README.md with Troubleshooting section link
  • Established template for future troubleshooting guides

<issue_title>[CoE Starter Kit - QUESTION] Missing information on few reports after installing Nov 2025 version</issue_title>
<issue_description>### Does this question already exist in our backlog?

  • I have checked and confirm this is a new question.

What is your question?

Hi Team,

We are missing information on below reports after installing Nov 2025 version, please guide how can we rectify the issue. For below report for the highlighted App/environment , we could not see the connector information. Also, we have other reports, where we could see the information. Connector flow is running fine, not sure why the information is not coming up.
