I'm proposing this because the list of spiders is really outdated.

Checked for small, unrelated and no more existant web crawlers

Thanks, I'll use this in my live shops. Is there some means to have the spiders data automatically updated rather than a manual process? Perhaps draw on a verified database of spiders if that would exist somewhere?

Don't know if download from a websource can be a right solution as for example were i take this list: http://www.useragentstring.com/pages/useragentstring.php is not really updated and i have to remove 50% of spiders listed as they not exists anymore. Maybe proposing changes on github when needed can be sufficient enough. I've proposed this as the list is very very old.

OK on that. If there's not a top reliable source handling it the way you propose is good via GitHub
Thanks
