Overview

Reverting some of the errors raised by @pacharanero - thank you

1. removes the binder link for the moment
2. leaves the binder folder and requirements.txt for future dev based on what decision are made about it
3. reverts the shell starter scripts purely to s/up (this will create a container that launches the notebooks in the browser and allow hot reload editing of the package for dev)
4. edits the readme to be as minimal as possible
