I have created some patches on my journey to update efivar from 0.15 to v39 in the FreeBSD portstree. This is the first part - which I think is quite straight forward and non controversial - but there's more to come.
So if someone has any general suggestions how to separate Linux and FreeBSD specifics please let me know. For the moment i've chosen
#if defined(__linux__)which can be a bit messy in the include sections.
