This project is a Django-based web application for The DFSL (Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratories) project is a comprehensive software solution designed for managing digital forensic investigations and generating store managing and generating related documents.
The DFSL project provides a range of functionalities for digital forensic investigators to streamline their workflow and manage buying of items and keep records of information effectively. The lettergenerate module specifically focuses on generating various types of letters and reports required during an ordering process.
Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:
- Docker Toolbox installed on your machine.
- Basic understanding of Docker and Django.
To install and run the project, follow these steps:

Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/samarth23-tech23/dfsl-project.git

Navigate to the project directory:
cd dfsl-project -
Start the Docker containers:
docker-compose up -d

Access the web application:
Open your web browser and navigate to
http://localhost:8086/letterGenerate/to view the application.
