Levenshtein-SQL

Levenshtein-SQL implements the Levenshtein distance. It’s string metric for measuring the amount of difference between two sequences. This implemetation originally wrote by Jason Rust.

Usage

mysql> \. /path/to/mysql-function-levenshtein.sql

mysql> select levenshtein('LEONARDO', 'LEONARDU');
+-------------------------------------+
| levenshtein('LEONARDO', 'LEONARDU') |
+-------------------------------------+
|                                   1 |
+-------------------------------------+
